How to install a CSR1000v in EVE NG

I know this is really late- but maybe this can help someone.
If you had issues with this and it's because you don't have the .iso, but you have the qcow2 file, here is how to do it, it's simple.
Create the directory whatever the version you have in
Filezilla the qcow2 file to that directory.
Run the HDD creation command as shown (not sure if you actually have to do this or not, but can't hurt)
Run the fix permissions command -a fixpermissions
Test and try out!

Running a lot of CSR nodes seems to take its toll on my device is there a way to optimize it thereby reducing the amount of memory each node takes. Read something about paging in Esxi don't know if that works for eve.?

I also download the qcow2 image, but the guide is based around the ISO. How do you install from the qcow2?

Just a note related to the comment that the CSR1000v image will run for a couple seconds and then shut down, I've experienced the same thing and have been digging for an answer. It appears to be a lack of support with newer QEMU images and AMD Ryzen processors in my case (3900x). I've tried the Cisco Serial qcow2 images, I've tried the EVE-NG ISO install method, I've tried adding -cpu qemu64 as an option when doing the ISO install method. I always end up with a non-booting virtioa.qcow2 in the end. Any input on how to make it run would be great, but I expect it's just "coloring too far out of the lines". Maybe there's a BIOS setting I'm missing? Thanks for the great video, Rob, your content is excellent!

I use GNS3 to do yout labs, but it seems that doesn't works I've been trying to install CSRV1000 in Eve-NG but it doesn't works for me...

I have other Cisco Virl Images installed and works fine. I can connect via web browser to the devices and configure them.
With CSRV1000 i follow the same process to upload virls qcow2 images, I've tryed to with differents CSRV1000 isos (I get a qcow file and renamed to virtioa.qcow2) and when y Start node in eve i stops in 2 seconds, If doesn't stops i can't connect.

Any idea? I'd be the happiest person in the world if we could solve it
