I have owned and used Synology products in the past and generally find them to be reliable, powerful, and supported very well. I’ve shucked a couple WD Easystore drives for my Plex Movies on my PC. I’ve had 0 problems. I just format and added my Movies. I still don’t understand why the drives are cheaper in the WD case than in it’s single raw state!🤷🏾‍♂️👴🏽

Great video. I got the same NAS on Primeday as well. Any instructions or video on schucking, the exact model of external drive you used, and the resulting WD drive model? Were the Schucked drives NAS level drives? SMR?

Great review! I bought the DS220+ in large part because of this review. I have a quick question. I am only getting a read/write speed of about 6MB/S. What am i doing wrong?
