Stature of limitations should never ever apply to murder and should be completely abolished

Statute of limitations should never apply to rape nor murder!!
If technology is finally able to help solve the case, use it!! Statute of limitations is so wrong for these situations!

Lots of background, but even if these girls were homely, didn’t have friends, or was a so-called nobodies and loners, their murders are equally tragic!

I do not, in fact I hate the use of “having his way” for rape and assault!

There is no statute of limitations for murder.

I, for one, prefer this more grown-up narration style. The usual patronising "bedtime stories for children" narration hits wrong in so many ways.

When the perpetrators are already elderly when they're finally caught its really not the same because they will never seeve anything like the sentences that they deserve

There's something especially eerie about unidentified people i mean why haven't any of their families ever come forward to identify them do they even care and if not why not i mean even if they hadn't been close to their own family before their deaths you would think that they would still be curious about what happened to them yet they are lying dead for decades without anyone knowing who they were as if they never even existed theres something creepy about that

At 02:30 you suggest that, at the time of the murder in 1976, they "ran the DNA through the central database", but DNA profiling wasn't invented as a technique until the mid 1980s and so no relevant database existed back in the 1970s. These cases are perfectly interesting enough without the need for hallucinatory padding.

Hide behind a lawyer? What? No one should talk to police without a lawyer, guilty or not

So he won't serve time because the statute of limitations has passed? He pretty much evaded most of his known jailable crimes.

Does anybody know what happens in Spokane ? I don´t know the place, but I follow Criminal Core and compared to the size of this city, it is amazing the number of crimes that come from that area. Is there anything special that we don´t know about this place ?

“Having his way with her” and “Forcing her against her will”. Call it what it is…rape

Um, women deserve respect, as we get approached by men who act like hyenas looking for trouble. The men doing these things are most likely homely, don't have friends, so-called nobodies, and maybe even loners who don't know how to act with people. How about saying that the suspects were most likely immature, spoiled, and abused resulting in wanting to hurt the vulnerable. Be a good example of a man that holds his head up high. Unable to talk to women? Mentally and verbally tough it out by respecting yourself and grow up. Some men think they're cute by acting immature, but it doesn't work that way. Learn for your own sake and have respect for yourself. Woooo! Pardon this ranty psa here, but I couldn't help but comment. Peace.

"hide behind a lawyer" IT'S NOT HIDING! YOU HAVE **RIGHT** TO AN ATTORNEY! Stop demonizing people exercising their rights!

There is a statute of limitations for murder but not for rape. The statute for rape varies from state to state. There should never be a statute of limitations for rape. The people who survive it, report it and actually make it through and win their case are stuck living with what happened to them for the rest of their lives. Why should the perpetrators walk out of jail after only a few years. It’s just so wrong on so many levels.
Rape is also the only court case where the victims are blamed every time.

Was it ever known exactly where Carol Sue was heading when she got into the car with that guy you can see why he was the original suspect when he was the last person seen with her but he was actually cleared of any involvement in her death but surely he would have heard what had happened to her but said nothing about it apparently couldn't he at least have come forward sooner with any information he might have had to clear his name there and then
