The Best USED Family SUVs under £10k| Best Used Family Cars in the UK

In this one we take a look at some of the best used family cars in the UK, in particular, the best used family SUVs in the UK right now. I've considered running costs, boot space in this whilst also trying to show you some of the most reliable SUV's.

All of these cars are ULEZ compliant with under 80k on the clock and are no more than 7 years old. All offewr good boot space and lots of practicality as well as a reasonable driving experience.

A good used family SUV should offer practicality, durability, efficiency, and reliability.

Some of the cars here include the Honda CRV, Skoda Yeti, Dacia Duster to name just a few.

This used car buying advice is just my opinion of some of the best used car buys in the UK, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Are these really the best used cars under £10000?

Need more similar videos, even with some "normal day to day cars"

Yes the Mazda CX-5 is generally very reliable. The petrol models are more reliable.
The diesel Mazda's have had DPF problems, . diesel in the oil etc.

Great video. Only Downside is with the Citroen. Wouldn't touch a PSA car with a barge pole due to their unreliable electrics. Son had a 12 month old RCZ which was fraught with faults. Going into limp mode on motorways wasn't funny.

Petrol CRV is a good chain drive petrol engine, but you'll be lucky to get low 30s mpg around town, maybe 40mpg at a gentle 70mph.

I currently have a Ford Firsta, I am looking to upgrade to a small used SUV. So far Honda HRV looks the best, I am still doing research, open to recommendations, this video appreciated

Hi. I plan to buy a car soon. How should or what should I look for in checking used cars based on MOT and servicing history? I am no mechanic so I have to base on what is available online. Thanks

Some great cars there.
I did notice the last car you showed was for sale with ‘Repossessions UK’. Do you know much about this seller?
Also, how would you feel about buying a finance repossession?

Some good choices here... unfortunately for me I just don't like (and don't get the 'craze') for SUVs.

What engines are best for the Yeti? I’m assuming the model you showed has had previous issues.

For vcheck, is it 1 time payment to check for all cars? Or everytime you check for the history of the car you need to pay? Thanks!

Most cars are clocked before first MOT, that's 3 years to knock off

Best advice given……If it’s good to be true then it is as some lying muvver foe has clocked the mileage 🤔

You need to use real world fuel consumption figures. My Hyundai 1.7 cdi manages about 37 mpg if only used round town and 43 mpg on a long motorway run. Nowhere near the 62mpg you quoted.
Good car though.
