Can't wait for the entire "Shadows of the Empire" summary of events from Battle of Hoth to Return of the Jedi. There was so much media taking place in that era that created some of the more beloved (and sometimes hammy) EU original characters.

Controversial as they were at the time, we needed a "Yuuzhan Vong" and not a "First Order" if Disney wanted to restart canon. I especially liked how they threatened to tear the galaxy apart and it took the Imperial Remnant and Alliance joining forces to ultimately beat them.

Great vid Ecky! A lot of fans seem to dislike the Yuuzhan Vong War since it feels out of place for Star Wars, but I like how unique and different it is to anything we've seen before. That, and the Thrawn Campaign are the highlights of this era for me.
