I was gonna say that he loves shaperbox... But then I remembered that he is a spokesman for shaperbox 😂

Man, I hope this comment reaches you guys. I've been producing since 2007 (or earlier, I guess?), but I'm _consistently_ charmed, excited, and inspired by the insights you have in your videos. My friends and I have figured out a ton of little production techniques over the years, and watching stuff like this has recently reinvigorated that little drive to get back in and produce. I forgot how exciting it was to just hear about a new way to approach making a sound, and really feel like "oh, yeah that makes sense, wait I gotta try that".

I really appreciate how much you focus on not approaching production in a rote, "by numbers" approach. A lot of people on this platform have been really inspiring to my music process, art process, game dev, what have you. But an equal amount of advice on here seems pretty... soulless, for lack of a better word. "This is the right way to sound design", "this is the right way to mix". Even the way other producers I've known have talked like "so many people are 'bad' at 'designing their snare sound'". I really appreciate what you guys are doing

I have a question!

Why are we limiting ourselves to mono bass, when most listeners will listen in stereo?
