A special feature on Systema, Russian Martial Art - the style featured in some of the fight scenes in the novel. Systema is a military-discipline from Russia, with a very old and prestigious pedigree. In this short video, the member of my club in Shrewsbury demonstrate defence against multiple attackers with knives. The techniques are done in slow time for training purposes, however it does illustrate how useful and versatile Systema is a method of self-defence .
