i guess some people dont understand the point of a demonstration. slow is good to see what is going on. slow is also the tool for timing. if u cant get the timing slow then u will not get it at full speed

you ever watch this stuff in person? i love people that think "oh well it isnt full speed so it'll never work for real" i've seen people like that come into class just to see what its all about and they get their chance to "attack" the instructor... you wanna know the reason why its always slow? people that go after him quick makes the instructor move quicker and shit hurts alot more the faster you move and after the first few attacks the attacker has to slow down cause they get so fucked up

whats being shown here is concepts for movement in demonstrative speed. no such thing as systema "technique". these drills are done with both parties moving at the same slow speed to learn what opportunities are available to exploit, once you learn it slow, you can and do execute it faster. at higher speeds those pushes would be powerful short punches.

Guy on the street might not necessarily show he intends to be aggressive. until he is within 3-6 feet of u. Yes u can move but we are assuming u come home, bad guy in those house, or ur in an alley, or on the stret, there is space to move but not a gym size. Mostmartial artist don't know shit about real knife fights. They think a guy is going to try to stab them once and quit because he hit them. No the guy is going to keep coming until u damage him ALOT as in nearly break or sprain him bad

unless you really trained in using a knife it is suicide to attack him :)
