If you decide to move to TEXAS from California just remember one rule, DON’T CALIFORNIA MY TEXAS. I am sure there are wonderful and nice people that live in California and wouldn’t want to live in TEXAS and that’s ok but please if you move here in the great state of TEXAS leave your California politics in California we love our rights and not just our 2A rights but all of our rights. We are open to all people who want to move here to TEXAS, we work hard to keep our state free and we don’t need other states politics to ruin what we have worked hard to preserve, TEXAS is a state that is vast and will take anyone who want to move here weather it’s residential or a business that wants to move some where they can afford to operate without the fear of the state shutting them down.

You should have brought up politics and culture. They are both night and day.

Exited Northern California in January 2021. After 65 years it was the best decision I ever made. Never going back
Never looking back. Its a personal choice, one the screwed up Brandon Squad has not put a mandate on !
Peace out.Merry Christmas 🎄

Yeah so, I noticed you didn't speak of California being a sanctuary state, that push other communities out of California.. speak on the black Exodus because of the Latinos, speak about the mass homelessness from San Diego to the bay and Alameda counties, speak of a job deserts that exist, and the fact that you need to be a commuter, on some of the worst bottleneck freeways in the country, speak, of the overcrowdedness in the valleys, such as San Fernando, San Gabriel, inland empire.. speak of the mini job genres that require you to speak Spanish in order to apply for that job. You're skipping over a lot of things and your generalizing.. not to mention the overwhelming racism Spanish have toward other races, speak on the real facts, for sanctuary State what a shame. I have a list of 20 to 30 things that you can include that would help people have a better understanding about California that doesn't include this geography we know that California is great for that..

I simply don’t like that California is such a struggle for the ordinary person. There is no “American dream“ here for the average hard working person. Not anymore anyway! Every middle class person I know either struggles with day-to-day life or had to make real sacrifices to make their lifestyles work for them ok.

I also know a middle-upper class family that make nearly $300k a year (they’re pilots for major airlines) and they have been struggling to find a decent house that is a fit for them and their 3 young children. They’re not looking for a fancy mansion, they just want a house that will be comfortable for all 5 of them.

My aunt’s ex-husband is a lawyer and never wanted to sell his house in Los Angeles in reasonable fear he won’t find anything better, as home prices have skyrocketed so much. He gave the house to his son just so he is guaranteed a decent home in LA, despite being an intelligent college grad that makes good money at a law firm. The dad went for something much bigger and nicer in Plano TX and now lives like a king. The stories I hear like these are only counting.

From a political point of view if you're a Democrat and love Communist ideas but you want to move to Texas because afforabilty and better living then don't do it. Texas is an amazing state to live you know why because it's Republican state with capitalist ideas.

Hi great info, but you missed that you pay a lot more in real estate taxes 3x+ in texas, so even if the house is half, you still pay more in Texas as compared to California

I beg to differ on the food thing. I’m a native Californian and moved to the Austin area last Feb. The food in Texas doesn’t compare at all to California.

I currently live in Southern California and would love to move to Texas, DFW area. I'm pro gun and pro 2A, so I'll definitely do my part to keep it red. Won't be bringing any if this California crap over.

Some of this is wrong lol sales tax in Houston is 8.25% so it definitely depends however I’ll take that over California anything any day also we may not have earthquakes but we have hurricanes many times a year which causes flooding (it floods with or without hurricanes) which in turn makes home insurance and flood insurance insane along with crazy high property tax!

When you are saying nice weather in California, you are actually referring to LA/San Diego region. I live in Sacramento and super hot and miserable 🥵 in this region during the summer and when I visited Texas, I saw no difference and actually liked it more than in Sacramento. But thanks great video!

Dont forget to tell everyone what happens when you buy a new car in CA and how much you pay in Taxes for that car as well as how much you pay for the tags on that same car. It is horrendous!! It feels like CA also taxes you for the weather!! LOL! I was in CA from 88-96 and it was bad then, I can't fathom how bad it is now.
