when I was a kid in Haiti my grandmother used to tell us about a giant mane named " Mete Minuit" translated "Master of the night or Master of the shadows". My mother said once she saw Metre Minuit as she traveled back from the hospital with my dad on a late night. He was as tall as the sky and dark as the night, and they were terrified when they saw him, but he let them cross under his legs and kept it moving. I've heard these stories growing up on Hispaniola all the time, of course I never believed them back then but only if I knew then what I know now.

Cromwell, Oklahoma has a lot of em lol. I was 19 and was walking alone at night when i heard something splashing under a bridge. He was throwing big rocks in the creek. My grandpa witnessed the same. I freaked and took off jetting lol...but my mom told me they were protectors. Which is cool but I'm definitely not gonna go searching for em...thing was HUGE!! 😂

Someone I know who traveled regularly to Africa to train in Martial Arts told me on one of his trips to Gambia he saw a abnormally tall (8 to 9ft.) being running tall tru the Forest and the peoples he was training with also saw it but for them it seemed normal as they hardly reacted as he did.. he was a bit shocked(WTF).
