Great video! It's really dawning on me why all the slide players keep a rack of guitars tuned for the different keys... I'd hate to be the guitar tech who's in charge of remembering which guitars are in which tunings!

I've had a guitar in open e for years and years now...I never change it back...I'm getting bettered at it...but I use a smaller slide, glass.I do mute with my slide hand though ALOT with Palm muting to...it works for me but whatever YA learn how to play slide, its like a wild animal ya have to take...especially play in lead...thanks Andy...sounds pissa

Nice advice to listen to the greats, but, please, fire the compression and distortion pedals.. Learn to play clean, and control your sound with palm blocking (and behind the slide fingers...)

Good vid but you maybe oughta do this on a resonator or acoustic. Way too much use of the amp in this one
