By the way, I didn't really mention this because it's technically speculation, but the Yellow Rabbit is likely a manifestation of Agony. Yeah, it's a lot. I'll go more in depth on that in it's own video. In the meantime, INTO THE PIT IS PEAK!!! ITS SO GOOD!!!! FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S FANS ARE EATING SO GOOD!!!!

Releasing into the pit early is such a fnaf move

I like the idea of Oswald's dad being the Freddy bully seeing as Cassie's dad might be the Bonnie bully, basically adding to the story of the rest of the bullies. Maybe a future game will be with the Chica bully.

That scrapped photo is technically the first time we’ve ever seen a rendition of William in the in game universe that’s not a walking purple guy 💀🤣

I think INTO THE PIT was meant to be a celebration game, and still is. Like Scott said in the interview, it was meant to be a lil novelty game that MegaCatStudio just took and went "lemme cook" and Scott went "absolutely. Keep cooking." lol.
A fun celebratory game full of references, easter eggs and content, and nothing more. A raise of a wine glass, a toast, for 10 years of this goofy supernatural robot bear game and honestly, that's absolutely amazing.

Is it weird to you that the Eleanor mini game shows her putting the necklace ON a girl and then she turns into metal junk? It’s weird she’s doing the opposite of what happens in the books.

The Count the Ways minigame is super specific to the story.

Water glasses for dehydration
Cupcakes for starvation
Snowflakes for freezing
Pierced hearts for impaling
Cauldrons for boiling

My theory (and it's a stretch)

Oswald is the sixth child. The "mystery" child of the missing children incident. It's a time paradox and anomaly, this time portal only works for Oswald, the pit Bonnie, and Oswalds dad, the latter two of which only happen when Oswald is in proximity to the ball pit. The true ending is the worst one- Oswald and Dad barely escape only for Oswald to get pulled back in and presumably killed by pit Bonnie. This has to happen because the sixth child is him, hence why no one knows who they are or where they came from, and why no one is looking for them. He's killed in the 80's before he can actually be born, his dad either tries desperately to find a way to get to him, ultimately failing, forgets about him entirely (I dunno, it's time travel) or knows what happened is so impossible that no cop would ever take him seriously, or the cops would claim he's probably just a run-away because he was discontent at home. I think this is why they put so much emphasis on the mysterious missing child, they are telling us there's something about it relevant to /this/ story.
The party hat minigame is a big piece of this.
Alternate theory: it's a time paradox that only exists in this one series of events and doesn't actually happen in canon, but /could've happened/.
But that's just a theory.

A bit surprised the "other" bad ending wasn't brought up (the "What Am I?" one.)

Since the implication is Oswald becomes Foxy, which is why he's the only FNAF1 Animatronic that isn't show on screen in the game.

Im gonna be honest: I think this game is just a massive love letter for the fandom with all the references and other endings.

I like the idea of Oswald's dad being the "Freddy Bully". Oswald is drawing a lot of Freddy characters and even has a Freddy plushy, but doesn't know the Freddy franchise. His dad, who would have experienced Freddy's in his youth, seems unwilling to tell Oswald about this. Maybe it is his old Freddy plush and now has to face his childhood trauma every time he steps into his son's room.

This fits on a karmic level as well and why the father is being abducted and kept alive. Using the body of the father to torment the son. An eye for an eye, a son for a son. There is something Afton left in this creature, after all.

And I think Gabrielle is supposed to be the niece of Cassie's dad, the "Bonnie Bully". There is a theme here, where the next generation has to suffer for the sins of their fathers. And for a silly little horror franchise, there is some actual beauty in that.

One detail I noticed that I think is important is that the final girl who you save (the one locked in the Party Room) has a very similar design to the black haired girl from the Security Logbook, who many speculate to be Cassidy. And she is the final victim we find of Pittrap, aka the final victim of Springbonnie. Just an interesting detail, that lines up with the Cassidy many know in the fandom.

Edit: Also, I really don't think the game is in continuity. The description seems to tell us that the kids we rescue are the Missing Kids from the MCI, and in this game two of them are Mike and Chip. We have all the MCI kids in the games continuity, and none of them are named Mike and Chip.

its really crazy how william told all employees "yeah if ur getting a springlock failure just calmy walk to the safe room, you'll be fine"
and then proceeded to literally go agaisnt EVERY safty measure of the springlocks and died

There’s another ending you forgot to mention. In the final moment when springtrap attacks you before you can go back into the ball pit, if you just let him kill you you’ll get an ending where Oswald is stuffed inside presumably the golden Freddy suit. It’s hard to tell because visually you’re still oz, but you end up on the stage of the old pizzeria and walk down the hall seeing all the animatronics waving at you while you’re just confused about what’s going on, then at the end of the hall you see springtrap and question him, when your eyes suddenly light up the same way they did with Oswald’s dad. I’m guessing most people haven’t found this ending because the quick time events like being attacked by springtrap are pretty easy to not lose lol

Mega Cat Studios really outdid themselves with Into The Pit! The unique art style alone is enough for my top three FNAF games. The art, atmosphere, possible lore implications and story is insanely good! Overall great experience!

I think the choose your own adventure book is going to give us the most lore from this story. This game just feels like most of its secrets are just fun easter eggs, but not much else.

Point and click games have a long history of hidden secrets. I'm willing to bet we'll be finding things in this game for a few months. Not tons and tons of things, but a lot of esoteric, small secrets
