Its amazingly impressive how scott cawthon is able to constantly connect everything in the newest games to the hints given YEAAARSS ago, and one of the most interesting ones is the "odor" thing with mike and his rotting body

I think the time travel theory becomes less silly when you think of Afton's famous quote "I always come back". Even when his weaknesses are exposed he doesn't seem to worry at any point.

This just came up on my recommended and I didn’t know it wasn’t about the new into the pit game, and Mat started talking and I was SO confused. Makes sense now that I know it’s 3 years ago

For theory 3 something came to mind: What if the “time traveling” ball pit wasn’t actually time travel, but instead Oswald seeing into the memories of Cassidy in a similar way that Larson gets to see the previous victim’s memories.
Maybe Cassidy died in the ball pit, and Oswald was able to see through her memories making it look like time travel
