I am so so so genuinely excited for this game since the graphics the art it all just looks so good and it's based on a really good and cool story as well

And pit spring bonnie looks genuinely really sick terrifying and threatening

And I hope we do see the missing children in this like in the book and if we do I hope we maybe get a official pixel art and look for cassidy the vengeful spirit since this is literally the perfect game to confirm stuff and show her design fully officially but maybe that's just me

Either way im really excited since the game looks great and really promising and interesting to that it's going to even be a game

I agree that this game is likely meant to end the book debate, but I kinda think it’s in the opposite direction. This game clearly changes the events of Into the Pit, given how it’s over the course of five nights, and if that’s the case, then only one version of Into the Pit can be canon in the timeline of the games, and I’d be shocked if the game isn’t canon to the games. This seems like Scott’s way of saying “hey, I know you want those books to be canon, but they aren’t, so here’s a game to give you what you want without butchering my timeline.”
Because yes, the books do butcher the timeline. Six kids is a massive issue. The Vengeful Spirit being a character we’ve never heard about before or since is a massive issue. The endless list of timeline inconsistencies are all massive issues. But this game has the opportunity to wash all those issues away while giving us what we want: the story of the games, in the games, but in the format that we loved.

Doesn't the Clock Tower series (which this is clearly using as the crux of its inspiration) have a sanity/panic meter mechanic? The heart rate thing on the bottom may be for panic. The more afraid you are, the higher chance of running into the monster
