In this video I demonstrate how to find numbers within a specified range. I look at the following methods.

1) Excel's filter list functionality
2) The FILTER functions (Excel 365)
3) VLOOKUP approximate match - lookup value within a range of values.
4) XLOOKUP (Excel 365) - exact match or next smaller item, exact match or next larger item

In the 2nd style of filtering, the filter function. Is there a way to add a sort function of the dollar amount in the formula to descend from largest to smallest via the dollar amount ?

Is it possible to use on the Filter Table the same setup of Min/Max as used on the adjacent table?

Then, with filtering still active, the user could just type in the min/max.

Or, does the Filter feature not respond to out-of-table references?
