Thanks for being clear, concise, and to the point! This video is very well done! I hate when people drone on forever to show how "smart" they are.

Thanks! Made keeping track of my TCG Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon rarity count in order and easier. I no longer have to count by color mentally and let the Excel do the counting.

Hello!
I would need to use a formula which reads different characters from a column, counts them after their type, than displays the counted value if it's greater than x.
I don't have experience with this and a help is welcomed.
Thank you.

Thanks for this. I am using it to count how many of each product I have sold. One question, if I insert a row into the data field in which the COUNTIF range feeds from, do I have to change the formula every time?

This is super helpful. Is it possible to produce the same results if I were to do the same formula on another blank sheet of the same workbook?

Thank you, your video helped me determine how many credit card transactions I had vs. ACH, percentage-wise, and how much each is costing me.

Hi Ted, Do you know how you can count how many time several different things occur? So if in one cell I want, say the total of players from AZ, AK & MO?  My actual problem is I am using ordinals, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th. I want a total of how many times a person has finished 5th-10th. Here is the formula I've used successfully to total the number of times a person finished 1st; =COUNTIF(B7:B41, "1st"). I've got individual cells for when they finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th and I use the same formula, just change the "1st" to "2nd" etc. Now I want at total in one cell of the number of times they finished somewhere between 5th & 10th. Can you help me please?
