Is eating beans everyday healthy? Does eating beans regularly harm you? I explore that in this video.

Lots of people worry about anti-nutrients in beans. They've read on some health websites and read some notorious books on plants about the side effects of eating beans.

They are also told about the anti-nutrients in beans and on that account advised to avoid eating beans. I have always tried to balance views on diet.

So, in this video whilst trying to acknowledge their fears regarding beans, in particular, the presence of the phytic acid in beans, I have also gone ahead and given you the wonderful benefits of eating beans.

If you know that the benefits of beans outweigh the downsides or dangers of eating beans, then you are more likely to make an informed balanced decision about beans consumption.

hi Doc, i started plant based eating almost 1year ago. Beans is a big partof my diet for my source of protein. I love the black beans and and lima beans. I love the No-meat nor animal products and so happy my whole family is almost switching too..i love it!

I appreciate this video! I love beans and eat them everyday. I try to mix it up but black black beans, kidney beans and lentils are my favorite. I buy them dried for reduced price.

Years ago I had high colesterol. ... 220...a doctor advised me to eat more peas and beans six months later colesterol was 160....beans are great

I love beans. We always soak our beans overnight. We mostly ate Great Northern and Navy beans, but I like all kinds. I have not had any issues with high cholesterol. We te beans every day. Thank you Dr. Joe for this valuable information. Beans are a staple in my house. I always buy dry beans and soak overnight then cook.

Awesome video doc. I love lentils and is an staple in my home. People shouldn't worry as long as you cook the beans well. I use a pressure cook mode on my instant pot.

Vegan 13 years, eating black everyday for the past 13 years😎❤🎉🙏. I have never had one had reaction nor side effects from consuming black beans daily. Dr, do you do consultations?

I love beans! Many people in the US grew up eating beans 2x day! My mom said they ate beans 2x day very rarely ate meat ( too poor ) beans have protein and are filling! Very Healthy! Maybe western medicine doesn’t want people to be healthy! Big Pharmacy can’t make money on healthy people🤔

This is an excellent video. Thanks so much! I love beans, and I eat them just about every Monday (red beans) and Saturday (butter, black-eyed peas, or white beans). They are easy to cook too. Just soak overnight and cook in a crock-pot in about an hour. I have several recipes on my channel if you are interested. Eat more beans!😀

Do enjoy butter beans, edamame beans, pinto beans, black beans, red kidney beans, black eye beans, lentils green, orange, red, mung beans, all shapes all colours I do enjoy.

I eat beans everyday! I eat a variety including red beans, black beans, mung beans, pigeon peas, varieties of lentils, chickpeas. I love to use a variety of spices and pair it with rice. Absolutely delicious!

I grew up eating beans because my mum had no money any other sauce or meat so we ate what we grew in garden/farm but we’re very healthy

Yeah Doc, what I do in the supermarket is I read the fine labels, most of these cans have ''added sugar''(ie cane sugar added during manufacture) and that is why I avoid them, I have yet to find a can of beans with sugar free ingredients.
