The Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not work in the UK at all! Car dealers, car mechanics do what they want, when people loose their whole savings. The way to explain unfair sales, unfair repairs is long and costly. Lawyers are demanding exorbitant sums for Small Claims, CAB advisers are not trained in any way, they just thing how to hang up the phone. It is overwhelming that there is a law that only in theory is for people, when in fact it is for scammers and thieves!

So if I was to buy a product like a drill, kettle or what ever.. should the item fail not due to damage by user, can the item be returned for repair or replacement within four years if I don't have a receipt?
