UK Law gives you a 1 year warranty with the seller and/or manufacturar. Under EU law 1999/44/EC this is now 2 years. Just quote this instead of the Sales of Goods Act 1979

I am going through a problem. I have payed £400 for a skin treatment. I gave this amount beforehand. After 5 days I informed that because of my health problem I could not have that skin treatment done. She already knew that I had health problem and incentivated to do it anyway.. The steticist said that she would reimburse me the full amount in 30 days. The 30 days passed and she said she doesnt have money and she needs more days to pay me. She said that she was being nice returning the money, cause I have no right to receive the money back. What do I do in this situation? Tks

I would imagine so - it's in relation to UK contract law. However, after constitutional changes in the law after having entered into the EU, European law does have an affect on UK law and so may have a similar impact on EU member states.
