I got some Wrangler Retros extra long and had them taken in to look like dwight yoakam skinny style jeans. People love them and everyone asks where I got them! I got them extra long so that they have that stack look which is totally unique because NO ONE makes extra long skinny jeans with a slight flare at the end to go over boots.

Wrangler's 36 MWZ slim fit (premium performance) rigid jeans are among the best jeans out there. Still don't understand why the pre-washed (36 MWZ's) are sold more expensive. The 36 MWZ's are made of 14 oz. denim and wear out very nicely. They look outstanding over boots as well. Oh yeah, hand washing and hang drying any pair of rigid jeans is a must.

"Cowboy cut" or any cut doesn't cut it at the golf course. Got kicked off twice. Ranger chased me down and made me put on rain pants over my Wranglers on a sunny day! Project  Fairway (Runway) said I was "out".

What went wrong with Wrangler in Britain? When I was a kid, back in the 60's, Wrangler were 'in'. Then they drifted 'out' and when Levi 501 became hip in the early 80's (I got my first pair in Liverpool back in '79 - I just thought the 'shrink to fit' concept was pretty cool), Wrangler had already thrown in the towel. They made shit jeans (these originals vanished altogether) that were sold in shit (camping and work wear) stores and worn by shitheads whose sole motivation was the low price. I got someone to get me these original Wranglers from the States a few years ago and I've never looked back. Fabulous styling, quality, colour - wear - fade.
