I can attest having run miles of barbed wire in Texas, and snagged many times spooling out, wrapping, twisting off, cutting, carrying, tensioning etc- the denim has never torn but maybe once on my 13MWZ's. It will pull a strand of fabric or two if you really lay into that barb and jerk to the side, but never tear in the traditional "rip-across" fashion. The barb will simply slide in and out of that stitching. They have an outstanding heat and abrasion resistance as well, in my experience. They are the only jeans I will wear to do any kind of field work. I'm sure there are stronger jeans out there, but I can't imagine they cost less over time when they wear out than these.

I live in Western Colorado and do physical labor outside for a living and always wear Wrangler's cowboy cut jeans for work and even have one of their denim jackets. I'm not a cowboy myself but all the cowboys here wear Wrangler's

I’m a 32x32 in most pants but because I wear boots I get them 32x34 for a nice, subtle stack. If you plan to wear boots with these I definitely recommend going up a little in length. I’m about 5 ft 10, 185 lbs a little more lean body type and 32x34 fit perfect.

I been wearing Wranglers all my life, and still am . I use the coin pocket to keep my Jack knife in it, and it's large enough for to fit a Leatherman Knife in.

I live in India and I wish they sold these here. I lived in Canada for 7 years straight and I used to wear them all day and every day for work. I worked in construction. Theyre tough as nails

I've tried many pairs of jeans. I need a high rise. I'm no longer willing to spend excessive money for a pair of jeans. So I really hope these fit the bill.

They definitely shrink after 6 washes I wear a 32x30 501 and these I buy 33x31 and they fit perfectly!

Lucky American, you get these amazing jeans for $30 -40.
In the UK we have to pay £50/60 thats a big price hit.
