It's not just that the 936 slim is well-designed, and a good, quality pair of pants...as far as I can tell Wrangler is pretty much the last manufacturer out there who still make honest-to-god blue jeans. A classic design that's not fad or fashion-driven...just what you need. Well done, Wrangler.

I really like my Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans. I have only worn Cowboy Cut jeans for the last 5 years and I cannot imagine going back to any other jeans. Cowboy Cut jeans are high quality jeans that can stand up to what I put them through. Any other jeans end up ripping or falling apart with how much I use them, but my Wranglers never give me problems. I can wear them on a construction site, while hiking, or riding my horses and never have to worry about them ripping or falling apart on me. Even with constant use I have pairs of these jeans last me upwards of 3 years without any significant issues at all. I need jeans that can keep up with my work and lifestyle and these jeans have withstood the test of time

I have been buying the 936 slim for years and I am now 63 years old and I am still a 33/34 and these jeans have not changed at all fit like a glove I read some of the reviews of these guys bellyaching on how to tight they are, well you think maybe you gained a few extras pounds suck it up and go up a couple of sizes

Been loyal to Levi's for most of my life. I'm only 28 but in 28 years Levi's have been so inconsistent that I'm surprised I've stuck with them for so long. To get a pair of 501s, I couldn't order online and instead would have to go to whatever store had them, find four or five pair and try them all on. Went to the store and grabbed a pair of the 13MWZ for only $20 from Academy and I'm sold. I'm a slim guy, about 5'7 or so and I like a slim fit without the silliness of slim fit jeans.

Not to mention, it's almost impossible to even get 501s over my work boots which kind of contradicts any "working man jeans" claims Levi makes nowadays. Anyway, I followed the instructions, turned my Wranglers inside out and washed them three times back to back, then tumbled dry on a high heat and guess what? Perfect fit, very comfortable, no more bagginess but not skinny. Just a good lookin' pair of jeans. Can't wait to start ruining them, and I've got a feeling these are going to last longer than the two years I got from my last pair of 501s.

I am a convert who switched from Levi's to Wrangler, and the 13MWZ jeans are my go-to. They're a made with denim that feels substantial and can take some wear and tear, but feels reasonably soft from the get-go and really wearable in a way that Levi's just don't. They look good too...I think "classic" might be the right word for it. Best of all, they're sold at a more reasonable price than Levi's for a comparable product.

All I wear is Wrangler denim, have been my whole life. Started with just what they used to call "Slim Fit boot cuts' . They fit like a glove when I was younger. Now they have options. I have been wearing the 36MWZ (slim fit) for 7 years now and have discovered they are little bit more baggy. Maybe it's because the standard has changed and people are a little more "well fed" these days. Figured I would try the 936 and give them several Hot wash/dry cycles and see if they fit like they did in my youth. Still the best jeans out there.

Been wearing wranglers all my life….they’re popular here in Texas as you can imagine. The 47mwz are slimmer than the 13’s with a lower rise but not as slim as the 936’s. I like them nut hugging tight so I usually wear the 47’s 1 size smaller or the 936’s at my true size. So if you like a slim but not tight fit and a lower rise go with the 47mwz at your true size

Depends on how your built. I have chicken legs, and a muscular upper body. With a moderate old man gut. 936 fits me with room to spare.

Not sure if you’re aware of this, but with Wrangler jeans each color option generally has a different denim weight (and some aren’t 100% cotton). Their website lists the exact weight and material for each color option. I always make sure they’re 100% cotton and at least 14.5 oz denim. It looks like you got a heavy denim original fit and a lighter denim slim fit, which may not be 100% as well. Sizing up with the slim fit helps a lot too. Cheers.

I don’t know if you are aware but the slim fit 936 also come in the same unwashed ridged denim as the 13mwz and are the exact same price.

The 936 slims in my opinion are better I've tryed the 13mwz 1 pair not my favorite so I own 3 936 slims all I wear really

Wow. I've got about 6 pairs of the 13MWZ in that same Bleach color, however the most recent pairs I've order directly from Wrangler and Amazon are way darker than the pair you have, I wonder whats going on at wrangler.
