We fixed the partioning issue with 19.0 release as we updated kpmcore to 4.1.0 version. 18.1.5 was still based on kpmcore 3.0

Manjaro is so stable and fine to work with, I use it in our dental practice on several machines. Would recommend the european government to promote this OS and use it for beeing more independent. Combined with a thick budget to the creators of Manjaro.

I've loved Manjaro for the past 3 years. It's been rock-solid.

Manjaro has been my daily driver for over 5 yrs now. Bought a laptop 2.5 yrs ago. As soon as I got it home I opened it up, put in an nvme drive, installed manjaro kde and it is still running like new.
I have never had any operating system go 2 yrs plus without doing a clean install. And have zero doubts 2 yrs from now it will still be going strong on the same install. Manjaro just works, rock solid!

37:23 you are able to use pamac from the command line as well with "pamac search" and "pamac install" .

To use the AUR, use can you "pamac search -a" and "pamac build"

Manjaro team brings some good tools. I like their jobs, no matter what distro I prefer. Wish the best to them.

14:50 : On both of my machines, a Lenovo G50 and a self-built desktop with an AMD CPU (I keep forgetting the name, but it's a somewhat elderly six-core) and NVIDIA GeForce (340xx driver), Manjaro installed beautifully and quickly, more than once, as I made changes that suggested a reinstall. That's on metal, of course, not VM.

I really loved Manjaro Deepin, and the discontinuing of it hurt my feelings almost as much as the discontinuing of Mint KDE.
Despite that, I do feel that Manjaro has replaced Ubuntu as the best hope for mainstream Linux use.

Manjaro is my distro of choice, and caused me to finally stop distro-hopping :P

Been using it for nearly a year now, and it's absolutely rock solid.

Tried vanilla Arch (yes, I've installed it several times the Arch way), but tbh I prefer Manjaro, mainly for stability and support reasons.

Salient might be worth a go on another SSD to faff about on, or Endeavour or MX Linux, but that would be the extent of my distro-hopping nowadays, testing.

The crazy thing is that there are so many Linux choices I am constantly trying new ones. I love that Distrowatch. The terminal, Pac-Man drives me insane after using a Debian machine. It’s a whole different language, it’s like going from English to Klingon.

The thing I liked about Manjaro is that it is highly functional. It seems like of all the distros it is the most efficient and bleeding edge, which is what I wanted for photo video and business use. Make me a Phone 📱 with Manjaro on it and I can throw my iPhone in the Trash.

Arch, because it's bleeding edge sometimes that packages can break.. Well, In like 10+ years with Arch it happened for me like twice. Seen much more Debian (and Debian based) down than Arch..

Started using Manjaro just in the last week! After using unix for work the last 5 years I had been looking for a way to ditch windows on my home PC (mainly used for gaming, hobby coding and music production). Stumbled across Manjaro for PC gaming and completely jumped into it - I don't think I'll ever go back to windows now!

For me I set Deb<RPM<AUR Manjaro is properly good you can direct build apps from software/remove program. It's very good and I had no weird problem like in ubuntu "system stopped working". I shifted to manjaro and no issues no bugs, no weird crashes and most importantly fast boot. No weird long splash screen in Gnome.
