Thank you for the explanation Jennie, You did a good job trying to make the viewers understand <3 Ps. I'm glad there wasn't distracting bgm.

You did a very good job at explaining the Double Slit Experiment Jennie! Really enjoyed for bering short and clear. I would love to see a video from you focusing solely on the connections between Tenet's entropy and delayed-choice quantum eraser experiment.

Why do I hear people pronounce _tenet_ as _tenant_ ? They're both English words, but have different meanings. Tenet, the somewhat rarer word, is defined as a fundamental principle within a belief system. Tenant is defined as a person who rents and occupies a property. Not to be pedantic, but it's my theory that the dichotomy functions as a sort of literacy litmus test because _tenet_, being the rarer word, the user is less accustomed to encountering or using it.

Regarding the determinism/free will/arrow-of-time paradox, we should be careful to respect the distinction between probability and possibility -- they're not interchangeable terms. It's correct to view entropy as probabilistic -- while theoretically possible for a glass to un-break, for example, can any observer probabilistically determine the glass's initial state?

Another excellent and concise video -- thank you!

One fatal mistake, randomness does no equal free will.

Jennie - please read Olivier Costa de Beauregard's book "Time: a physical magnitude" - he was a member of the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton and he was a protege of Louis de Broglie. thanks

People have many questions about tenet it's concept like inversion, Temporal pincer etc. But I understood all the concepts. But only problem I with tenet is do we have Free Will. In the last scene protagonist could say that don't go Neil let's see what happen but he didn't. The same problem I have with Dark the web series. Can we break a time loop? And you asked the same question.

I've always thought about it. If Sator saw his future self in the past without the soldiers forcing him into the turnstile, would he really go through? There's a chance that free will would stop himself from going into the turnstile. Then I thought: why didn't Sator tell his past self "There's soldiers coming! Kill him now!" Because then the algorithm would've been protected without a protagonist to go against his antagonist plan. But then that would go against the flow of time that has already been observed.

If we’re observed when doing an experiment, would it change the results of doing it solo. Perhaps the result is already predicted with high probability with the intensity of intention of the participants. Thought, expectations, desire altering outcome. But not as cause and effect. Well, it’s just a thought. Nice video! Obviously thought provoking.

Dan Simmons, in his sci-fi Novel series Hyperion Cantos, already mentioned things like anti-entropy, things travelling back in time, etc and that also back in late 80s. I think Nolan may be aware of his Novels.

Now I’m even more confused. I’ll te watch is soon, it should make more sense then ;-)

What I got from the movie: One's free will is someone else's determinism. Stop being butthurt over things. Don't take that chromelooking pill (seriously Nolan? in your wildest scifi, we spend 2.5hr on time travel and shit, yet CIA still uses suicide pilsl?). There is a good hardcore science show in RTHK's youtube channel in case you speak cantonese or read Chinese, where nobody has to worry about CIA's opsec.

btw it's nice that youtube recommended this video twice to me, one before i saw the movie, once after.

The universe is a type of guy that he prefers room to be very messy and disorganised.

"Tenet" not "Tenent" atleast get the name of the movie right.
