I would like to add that the main focus of this scripture in 2023 is to not be deceived by anyone. If you, in your heart, feel scared of some force trying to destroy you, a true believer of christ; you need to find that hidden strength which is kindness, and through that, there will be no need to be afraid anymore because the spirit will work its way through you and into the world, and the world will become blind by the shine of Christ. On a side note, maybe that's how Paul escaped from jail Acts 16:25-40

12:00 I do not think that is what that sentence means. I thought it meant do not partake in it with them and speak of it in secret. How else does the first sentence Expose them. It does not say you should never speak of THEM as you said. Then it would make sense.But I agree you are not to go on a witch hunt but what if your pastor is doing those sins? Are you just to keep your mouth shut and change churches? I think not just like pedophiles they need to be exposed and adulterers in your church what if they do not repent and take communion with the congregation. I Think that would be very bad indeed. But going on a witch hunt and condemning them I agree
