Patrick Bet-David reacts with humor and astonishment to the surprising science behind honey production, explaining how the unique flapping of bees' wings creates the iconic hexagonal honeycomb structure while also noting the rather unappetizing fact that honey is essentially bee vomit.

I rather prefer bee vomit/honey over processed poisonous sugars!

Bees are extremely incredible. They're very underappreciated.

Bees should be highly respected by mankind. They are awesome creatures.

Bees don't actually "vomit pollen" to create the hexagonal shapes in their hive or to purify/preserve honey. The hexagonal structure of a beehive, called a honeycomb, is created by worker bees using wax produced from their bodies. They shape the wax into perfect hexagons through instinctive behavior, and the design is highly efficient for storing honey, larvae, and pollen.

As for the sound frequency of bees' wings, they generally beat at a frequency of around 200 to 250 Hz (hertz), depending on the species and activity. When bees are flying or working in the hive, this wingbeat frequency produces the characteristic buzzing sound.

Honey preservation is a result of the high sugar content and low water activity, which naturally inhibits bacterial growth. The bees fan their wings to help evaporate moisture from the nectar, which thickens it into honey. This fanning also creates air circulation in the hive, but it doesn't have any direct connection to sound frequency shaping the honeycomb or preserving honey.

That's your take away? That was a magnificent thing we just learned. Bees are incredible.

Sound frequencies have been proven to create both light and structure. It's really amazing to watch. They're geometric shapes. Like the hexagon would be one frequency. God is good

They have always said throughout HISTORY, the destruction of the worker bee is the destruction of humanity.

Eat the natural honey, not the processed honey from companies.

Honey will never expire. It will be just as good 10, 000 years from now as it was today.

A man was due to get his gangrenous leg amputated on Monday. The Friday before, his wife slathered his leg with honey, wrapped it up and left alone until the surgeon unwrapped it on Monday. He said, you don't need an operation. There's no gangrene! What did you do? She told him. He said, " That makes sense."

Also note, honey never spoils. If you have a jar sitting on your shelf for a long period of time just heat it over a stove, it always comes back. So cool
