Never once did I have a doubt that Valentine will be producing something absolutely excellent. All the comments on rdforum about them closing down I did not believe. I knew something great was coming. My gen2 will be here tomorrow on Sunday. They told me it would be shipped out next week but the next day I had confirmation it was being delivered.

I never knew how RDD's work. So basically if you're in traffic there's no way they can tell if it's you or somebody else. I always take my detector down and tuck wire behind rearview when pulled over anyway.

Are you expecting the same result with the spectre elite? Also. Does the Gen 2 have dark mode where there are no lights even when the unit picks up a detection?

Vortex: I am curious at what range the Gen 2 can pick up the Spectre 3....since it is giving off a very distinct alert with all those bogeys ramping up like a million door openers. Perhaps this might be a new App feature on the G/2.
