Love this radar detector (V1G2) with JBV1, it's practically like running a Tactical Electronic Warfare System for your car.

Note: the Brown Out Booster is not for when the engine shuts off. It’s for when the engine starts back up. The momentary drain on the starting battery can be enough to dip voltage to accessories.

You could not be more right about buying the detectors straight from Valentine. People who don’t listen to you, and do otherwise will definitely regret it. This is especially true if you have any issues

Dropping in to say I have been binging on your videos for the last few days and am throughly enjoying them all. It would be lovely if you could do a video involving installation/ hard wiring a RD in a Tesla- since these cars do not have the traditional 12 volts access like other cars. There are a few videos around, but it would be awesome coming from a RD stalwart channel like yours :) Cheers!

Valentine One Gen II ... Add GPS and Red Light Speed/Camera Photo-Enforcement Detection and it would be the package to buy!

One other thing that you could have mentioned was if your phone is connected to the V1 GEN 2 via Bluetooth, you don’t need that GPS device to block out false alarms, etc.

This is a great summary on the V1G2. Do you have a video on how to customize the settings on the V1G2 like you have provided for the V1G1? For example your V1G1 video illustrates how to narrow down the Ka band the V1G1 is scanning. Thanks 🙏🏻!!

Love your content. Question for you or anyone that can answer. My V1 G2 coiled power cable broke. Is there a suitable alternative that I can buy retail? I have the v1gen1 with the bluetooth module that I bought around 2015 so I think it has the esp and I hard wired it to my truck and put it up in my headliner and ran the breakout control box to the dash by the speedo. My question is can I just unplug the v1gen1 and plug in the v1gen2? Do they all use the same cables and pin out etc? I'd love to upgrade but I'm not running all those wires again lol. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
