It brings me so much sorrow to know that so many people are unable to experience such wonder and awe at the beauty of the cosmos, and ourselves, because of their inability to feel humility; because of their unwillingness to accept ignorance; because of their blindness caused by their assumptions. It's unfortunate how people don't look around because they think all the answers are right in front of them. They aren't. So look up.

This awesome video has only 42.500 views, and some other stupid videos have millions of views. That tells us a lot about our society

We always think of ourselves as the pinnacle of evolution and yet, we're nothing more than stardust in a universe that is so huge, our small minds can't even comprehend half of it's greatness.

But we can strive and dream to become something more someday.

I once heard Richard Dawkins say that the 'Why' is an irrelevant question that for some reason we think is important. Whether I agree with him or not I'm not sure, but thought I'd throw that out there too

I'm amazed this has only 29, 000 views....  I'm also amazed it doesn't have over 100 million views...  one of the most beautiful 5 minute videos I have ever seen..

Krauss telling it with absolved fear, Tyson preaching the scientific good news, and the late Sagan speaking poetry from his heart of hearts.

Men I ask of you, if the cosmos is us what are we in the cosmos?
