Actually I like the tv show idea. Gives more time for the characters to meet each other and grow.

I was like "SMASH NEEDS A MOVIE" but NOW , SMASH NEEDS A TV SERIES WITH EACH EPISODE FOCUSING IN A CHARACTER, YOU ARE GENIOUS

I think the tv show idea seems really fitting actually! But also the subspace story having a modern re-tell (so newer characters and slight changes) could work for a movie, or multiple part episodes-

Hopefully it'll happen because the Director of Sonic 2 said that he'll make Smash Bros Movie project

The biggest problem with this is they need more franchises to make movies to introduce more characters (I get some characters could be introduced in the actual movie or show, but then they'll only be half baked). That, and most game series characters like Ice Climbers, Duck Hunt, and R.O.B. will have little to work with (save for R.O.B. seeing what they did in Brawl). Other characters like Pit, Captain Falcon, or any other smaller characters would need more to cover them since their games have more to work with. It might work, but there's way too much needed to make it good.

I agree with a tv show just because of the story mode in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
It makes more sense to me to be honest I am broke and only get to watch and play against my friend once in 100 years

I agree Danno and Riggy, it being a TV show is a much better idea plus it fit in better with how much they are constantly fighting then with a movie where they wouldn't always fight

every smash bros cutsene was amazing and even tho they were short they were better quality than most movies I've seen
