It makes sense, even in the book of Genesis. Besides Genesis chapter 6. When Adam and Eve were still in the garden, it states that they were beguiled, which means in Hebrew completely seduced. Also in the Hebrew language, the word for tree can also mean a being such as a human backbone. The fruit is also the knowledge of the being.
