The pin is the only deterrent so even if they took your key card or phone, you still need a pin

As far as tracking the car after its been taken depends on the app is just the worst piece of tech around. My app rarely shows where the car is. As well as tells me alot of other things and do other things its supposed to. I dont imagine that ever changing. My car absolutely wont start without the keyfob. My phone is irrelevant to my car starting only the fob.

If someone hacks yr actual Tesla account they can skip your pin 2 drive by disabling it inside your account if they hack it

My uncle had his brand new Tesla taken last month. Everything all protected in boxes as per Tesla recommended and phone off. The lad jumped overt the main gate walked up to rear bumper with a very small box. Touched the bumper and boom car opened and off he drove and the gates opened as he went. So yes a lot easier to steel as police are saying there is a box on the back market that just interferes with the internal system and clones cards so you can use it.

Good points in this video, except the comment about most criminals not knowing what to do with the key even if they had it. What a stupid thing to say. Most car thieves are extremely clued up on how car security works. Car theft is getting extremely sophisticated, so to suggest the thieves are ignorant/stupid is wrong.

You are kinda funny.... Lemme tell you that Teslas CAN and ARE being stolen in a few seconds, pretty much anywhere.. It is called CarJacking! Gun in your face.. Fob in their hands, probably along with whatever else they want.. Situational awareness and action is pretty much the only thing that will save your car, and possibly you... All this high tech talk is almost a joke.. Car jacking... Probably at least 2/3'rds more than any other means of stealing higher end vehicles..
