When I travel internationally, I always bring a ‘pharmacy’ with me in my carry-on. Nothing is worse when you need a med on a plane but don’t have it. I always includes meds for anti-nausea, anti-diarrheal, pain reliever, cough meds, airborne, band-aids for any blisters, chapstick, saline for your nose to combat dry air. I’ve had to use all of them on various trips.

Storing travel accessories: I use a clear plastic box labeled "Travel" and keep it on the shelf in my closet. I include the instructions for some gadgets in case I forget how to use them. My box is the size of a shoe box. A suitcase safety belt is kept in my suitcase. I also keep a clean plastic bag in my suitcase for soiled items. Thank you for so many good tips.

Hi Laurie, I am Going to England in late September. I have one of those “belts” and I never thought about using it for travel. Great idea. And the Tylenol is essential. I get a headache every time I go to Europe. I take no liquids with me now. I stay with a friend and so everything is there for me. And I bought one of those foot rests. Glad to hear you like that. And there are compression socks that don’t cover your toes and zip up. Easy on, easy off and can be worn with sandals. I love your videos. I learn a lot from you. Thanks.

Hi Laurie, Just want to say thank you for all the amazing travel content.
I am heading to Europe and have been studying and taking notes. It's very helpful and appreciated! Thank you very much!

Just came across this earlier video. Love the coat that can be worn backpack style. Put that over your backpack, the zips won't be visible and that could be a deterrent to the light fingered and the fabric slashers. E❤.

Alot of questions re: where to store baggage when not in use, . I condense all of my items into the largest item. Then shove the ""one"" bag in a corner! 👍♥️🇺🇸 Simple.

Thanks for all your great tips! I sewed elastic straps into my coat and wore it on my Israel tour and it was a game changer!

Thanks for all your videos Laurie! I have been watching a bunch of them lately, and we are flying tonight for the first time since Christmas season 2019. I feel more equipped than ever and I was a pretty experienced traveler already. Keep up the excellent content!

My first long haul trip I’m doing alone is just a few weeks away and I’ve been watching your videos all the time as prep. You’ve helped me prepare in a way that makes me feel at ease, even with my anxiety disorder. Thank you so much Laurie 🙏🏼♥️

Something I've started carrying in our First Aid kit is a thermometer to be sure I'm for sure just having an off tummy day & no temp. We've seemed to get "something" when we travel as we get older, so that anti-diarrheal med, indigestion meds, losenges are always in that kit!

I’d love to know how you store your travel gear when not in use. That’s definitely a big problem I have.

I swear, Laurie -- every time I watch one of your videos, I capture one more travel tip/line item that I need to add to my travel list (especially the stretchy gym belt that looks much more comfortable than the stiff, ugly security belt you wear around your waist). My list has now grown to 8 pages, starting with "To Do 6-7 Months Before Travel" and ending with "Day of Departure."
