Teen Girl, Assault Suspect Both Killed By LAPD In Shooting At Burlington Store In North Hollywood

Los Angeles police officers shot and killed both a 14-year-old girl and an assault suspect when they opened fire inside a Burlington store in North Hollywood Thursday morning, authorities said.

So sad. A perfect example when a taser really should've been used. Come on man he had a chain and bike lock not a gun. Excessive force was used and an innocent little girl shopping for a dress. Let’s not forget when they shot up a truck with two Hispanic ladies on accident when they were looking for Christopher Dorner. Luckily those ladies survived. How as a cop do you go into a crowded retail store during the holidays and not have awareness of where your rounds are going when you fire at a target? You don’t fire until it’s safe and in this case it clearly wasn’t. How many rounds were fired? What caliber was the officer using? All these things need to be made public.
