How to use your Ego Mower at any Handle Length or Height

This video is about a Ego 21-in LM2100 mower. I don't know if it's the same for other mowers in their lineup.

Personally, I think the lawn mower is made for 6 footers. Like 35" putters and lululemon pants. I wanted to use it at a shorter length for better control and pushing leverage. However, this mechanism is likely a safety feature, and you should do the mod at your own risk.

Steps:
1. Remove the 8 screws on the cap that covers the side with the cables
2. Remove the lever with spring that activates the microswitch lever
3. Put the cap back on
4. Drill new holes in the aluminum rail for clamping (if you want a different height then the pre-drilled factory holes)

Doesn't work on Ego LM2130. There is no plastic part with a spring on this model. The switch is triggered by a wheel that slides into a notch in the handle. Shoot. At 5'4", I really wanted this to work. Thanks for posting.
