It really is nice to see someone put in the effort for these OG farming games. stardew valley set a president that these games just didn't have back in the day. Even the "official" guide books would oft have false info in them.

This walkthrough is super helpful as I’ve been getting everyone in towns head to turn but only really earned the fishing pole from Galen and seed maker from Daryl. Only other cutscene I could get after stalking the town was grant for some reason giving me the alarm clock on day one of year 2. He still has not been befriended 😂
