Very traditional, but it will taste horrible. Luckily, coffee has come a long way and doesn’t have to taste like bitter tar anymore. Choose freshly roasted specialty coffee beans, grind them with a quality grinder, fill up the moka pot with boiling water and remove the potfrom the stove before it starts sputtering to prevent over extraction. Your coffee will taste amazing!

For beginners, who need a more detailed tutorial, the correct traditional Italian way to make moka pot coffee since 1933 is on the "Annalisa J moka pot" video.

Can you do another video that is a little bit longer? Because I have some questions like "use boiling water in the pot or start with cold water?"
"Do you let it stay on the stove the whole time or do you lift it up sometimes so it doesn't overheat?"
"what is the sound to look out for when it's done? People say it makes a special sound but never record that sound"

Question, do most Italian households start with room temperature water when using a Moka pot? Because the YouTube baristas always say to use already boiling water to extract all the flavor in the coffee.

Is there an actual difference in the coffee if it is made in Bialetti moka pot or in a dupe from another producer?

This is so wrong it hurts😢 water level always at half as it's the gas that pushes up and creates the foam which you're lacking. Also it should never sputter like a vulcano. Heat was way too high. Non si rovina il caffè zio bono!

Unico video trovato che non fa sciocchezze come usare acqua bollente o mettere acqua NEL caffè prima di chiudere, assurdo che sia così difficile saperlo fare

This is not how a moka pot should be used

-Spills 30% of the coffee on the plate
-Moka rarely seems cleaned

At this point your gonna disgrace your own family bruh

Is this any better than a french press

Too much coffee. Too high of heat. Didn’t clean it properly. I don’t why you’d want to leave old coffee in it.

Ma la caffettiera Moka è nata in.Piemonte, non a Napoli!

weird.. the coffee is just burning it must be terribly bitter. You have to open the lid to limit the heat and reduce the heat so that the coffee flows slowly without exploding. ☺️😉
