We visited an olive oil mill in Italy in the southern region of Puglia, a region that alone supplies 40% of Italy's olive oil production and 12% worldwide. Olive oil is an essential part of the culture here, from food to the picturesque landscape.

I've had the pleasure of trying freshly pressed olive oil. It's like eating sunshine.

Let me guess - there's only one olive oil producer in Monopoli...?

We use it on everything. It's healthier than butter, and has a nice fresh taste. You can even eat it simply with bread

I feel like the Italians have one of the best cuisines in the world. I wish to really visit Italy one day and explore its cuisine. That would be wonderful.

I only buy olive oil in my house hold. When my mom visits her friend in Spain....she brings lots of olive oil back. I love it ❤

Watching the olive harvest in the fields and the production of oil in the mill is one of the most beautiful experiences I have made my clients live in Italy. Especially if it ends with a tasting 😊

Does this make anyone else almost want to cry, with how beautiful and pure this absolute cornerstone food product is? It's 10, 000+ years old, it's used throughout the entire world as the basis for so many foods, it's recorded to have been used in religious ceremonies, I mean this stuff has such a deep connection to human life it's just amazing. And to see this awesome video showing a high quality production of this sacred thing, it just moves me deeply. Seeing videos about high quality bread makes me feel the same way.

That looks so good I could eat it with a spoon! Fragrant, fruity and slightly spicy. Delish.

A good sourdough bread, a good tomato spread over, a good first cold press olive oil and a peace of iberico ham. There's nothing better you can eat, all the basics from the fields to the mouth. No complex sterification and emulsions, reductions...would ever match the simplicity of time working for good products
