Jamel, in this uncertain, often ugly time in our country you have been a regular dose of happiness. I am a huge music lover and already know the majority of the songs you review but your enjoyment of them has reopened my eyes and reignited my appreciation for these great artists.
Thank you for your work, your enthusiasm and for making this world a better place!❤️

"Doctor, my eyes cannot see the sky
Is this the price for having learned how not to cry?"
Damn, what a lyric.

The Load Out/ Stay is a brilliant Jackson Brown song dedicated to his roadies. I'd love to see you react to it. ❤

So glad someone is finally getting into some Jackson Brown.

The older I get the more I understand the meaning of this song. For someone to write a song like this at a young age, amazing.

Jackson might be the most underrated singer songwriter ever I really mean that. He wrote for EVERYONE even at 16 yrs old and ask a lot of the greats of his era that all talk him up he’s incredibly humble but his music speaks for itself.Great video

“Somebody’s Baby” by Jackson is a must. Right in your wheelhouse.

Jackson Browne is one of the legends of the modern R & R scene. A pioneer who wrote more hits for others than he had himself. One thing for sure, the world will never see another time like the late 60's/early 70's LA music scene. It basically birthed the music you play on your channel.

One of the best singer/songwriters ever. “The Pretender” is my favorite. The entire album is. I had a record player that shut itself off when the record was over. I went to sleep many nights to that album.
Please react to more of his music!

You’re a breath of fresh air for this grayhair here. I’ve been a music junkie since I got a transistor radio in 1961. It hung on the handlebars on my bike, and on my bedpost at night. I did my homework with the radio playing. It’s been such a big part of my life that every song has a place and time and people connected to it. Music is life!

Haven't forgotten a word of the song in all these years. He's one of the ones you just don't forget.

“Here come those tears again, ” “load out/stay, ” and of course “the pretender” are three of my favorites of Jackson Browne but all of his songs are awesome.

My favorite Jackson Browne song is: "Tender is the Night." The lyrics can be felt down to your toes.

Always loved that line:" Is this the price for having learned how not to cry?"
Wow! Wow!

"These Days" He was 16 when he wrote it. This is like Van Morrison's albums. You can play any song off of "Saturate" and react to it. Also, check out songs from the albums "Late For The Sky" and "Running On Empty"

Finally! One of the great singer songwriters of the 70s and early eighties. Does not get nearly the recognition he deserves. Brilliant, poetic, empathetic, lyrics. With a pretty tight band to back it all up. Jackson represents the thinking man's rock.
Check out 'The Pretender' or 'The Boulevard' next.

I've seen the man live. 10 years ago. Just him, with 17 guitars on a rack in front of him (yeah, I counted) and a keyboard. I was in Heaven during the concert and so was he because he said that he was used to doing arenas, but this was the National Arts Center in Ottawa and the acoustics there are fabulous.

This is a rabbit hold you will love... The Pretender, Running on Empty, Lives in the Balance, In the Shape of a Heart, Sleep's Dark and Silent Gate, oh man... there are so many and as a songwriter, he leaves you breathless, worn out and wanting more, even if it kills you. :-)

For me "Running On Empty" and "Load Out" are the next two. His version of "Stay" for me is only okay compared to Maurice Williams version.
