Were looking at the disappearance of Cameron Robbins with lightened color footage.

The 18 year old had just graduated high school and was celebrating with friends in the Bahamas. The group went on a pirate themed alcohol cruise May 25, 2023.
Witness stated around 9:40 p.m. Robbins, apparently on a dare, jumped over the security netting and into the water.

The group was near near Athol Island, which has been described as shark infested.
Video from the scene showed what could be a #shark swimming in the water.

Could it have been drawn to the splashes?

Do you think the splash is a shark? what do you think happened to Robbins. Share your theories in the comments, but please be considerate. Cameron was well loved by his family and friends.

The Bahamas is NOT the place to go jumping off a boat! Those sharks (mostly tiger) are very domesticated in the sense that they are fed from boats all day everyday for shark tours. A boat…..then a splash will bring the sharks because they think they will be fed.

How could this possibly be the only footage??
No way all those teenagers see a kid take his clothes off to jump into the ocean on a dare, and ONE PERSON takes their phone out? 🤔

The only thing for certain is that he saw something in the water and he started to swim in the opposite direction. Regardless, he’s in shark infested water so whether it occurred during this video or after.. The fact that no body has been found is pretty telling

That water is full of Tiger and Bull Sharks. You don't want to be splashing on the surface like bait.

You couldn’t pay me $1 million to jump off of a boat in the middle of the day let alone at night when it’s just dark and that’s when sharks hunt for food

I was on a small boat cruise and they told us that sharks are attracted to the boat lights at night. We sat on deck and watched them circle all night. I could see where there would be a shark right there and further attracted by the splash.

That looks like a very large shark... such a tragic decision.

Such tragic timing-he is clearly swimming for the ring and then sees the "shark" and turns around and swims away...forever

The more I watch, shark took him, and there are two distinctive male screams that arent heard after he disappears out of sight.

Cameron was the victim of a shark feeding frenzy, numerous shaks, not just one. That poor kid never had a chance, when he hit the water.

I agree. Shark. He saw it & swam away from it. Shark pulled him under. Particularly deep there. Body that was bitten/punctured, would sink to depths, if not eaten. Heartbreaking.

I am thinking there was more, but somehow people are being quiet because of the brutality of what happened after. It will come out one day! RIP, Cameron.

I found the Egypt attack more shocking and gruesome than the Sydney- Australia attack because it lasted longer and because it reminded me of the movie Jaws . All that shaking of the victim like a ragdoll, the splashing and gushing of blood, the attack from below, the screaming and finally the pulling and ripping of the poor young man underwater. It's step by step the hunting and killing method of an apex predator . I was so shocked to see this in real life and not a movie, but it's good to see this footage so that people can be more careful and not take unnecessary changes .

Watch the little light that connects with his left foot and you can clearly see the shark grab his left leg then the splash.

In regards to people saying there were no witnesses of a shark, right when the callous young man filming yells "Bye-Bye", listen to the background chat. Find an uncensored version of the audio. There's a drunk voice that clearly says, "There's some -inaudible- chomping at his s**t!" I'm also fairly certain his left arm is injured pretty severely right before the first pan away. His skin tone was easily contrasting with the water, and when the camera pans away, almost as if in horror, it pans back, and you cannot see his left arm for the remainder of the video.

The kicking splash is 50-50, could be his kicks, could be something else. But he was definitely being attacked. There's a longer version that shows him making punching motions as well before swimming away from the buoy after seeing something.

You never want to be in the water with a shark and it bust a U-turn like that on you. That means aggresion, you notice from the begining of the video he was watching it. Even while swimming he looking over his shoulder. Not to mention thats close to where 3 tiger sharks ambushed that girl

It even looks like Cameron noticed the shark first passing him, kept looking to see where it went (you notice he slows down his paddling in order to pay attention) but then saw it turn, which is when he himself started swimming towards the back of the boat (hurriedly no doubt) in order to get out of the water.

I don’t know, it sure looks like something is swimming in the water with him, at the start of the video. Poor kid. RIP.

I didn't want to point this out, his family asked the authorities to not talk about sharks, it's not that the authorities confirmed there were no sharks, but if you read the article in Rolling Stone, they do it out of respect for his family who were no doubt traumatized. That said, when he's floating behind the net, he goes from looking upright, to looking like he's face down on the surface of the water, the top of his head and his torso foreshortened. He was probably already dead or dying behind the net and just being eaten. I would just say, while being eaten by sharks sounds awful, hopefully he bled out pretty quick and it was a quick death as opposed to floating away and dying slowly from exposure, terrified the whole time, so hopefully he didn't suffer too much.

You know more footage exists and the family knows what happened. They were VERY quick to hold a memorial. If my loved one went missing, even in these circumstances, I would hold out a little longer than two weeks to confirm to myself they were dead. Other kids on this boat filmed it, confirmed a shark or sharks, and the family knew. It is the only logical explanation to this. He cant have been too winded because he still managed to swim behind the netting (maybe looking for a ladder).
