Investing in REITs is a simple method of getting exposure to real estate without having to actually buy a property. In this video, I discuss how I use REIT investing to generate an income. Then I talked about some of the different types of REITs that are available for investing. I also describe several methods for acquiring shares of stocks for investing in a REIT.

In March 2020, the activity in my consulting business dropped drastically due to the worldwide health concerns affecting the lives and businesses of everyone in every country. So, I had to find ways to generate an income while I work from home. Since I had many years of trading stocks as a part of my retirement savings, I decided to bring it up a level and make a concentrated effort to actively trade stocks and options in order to generate a regular income. Love it! I've been staying away from retail but love residential REITs. Recently I've become more interested in land/agricultural REITS.
