Brew System Assembly Guide

For all you doomsday preppers, I live in a hard hit area of Hurricane Helene in Asheville, and I’ve been using the 20 gallon kettle to easily boil/sterilize a large volume of water and easily transfer via the ball valve to any bucket, pot, cup, and even bathtubs, for hot baths when power was out.

My wife and I never imagined my hobby of brewing as a lifesaving tool. Thanks Clawhammer 🤙🏼

Excellent Video! My 120V 10 Gallon system arrived a couple of days ago and this was super helpful to clarify things. I found that I needed to be generous with the pipe tape especially on the lid fitting and the pickup tube, to have it seal and be aligned. Everything is super high quality and I am excited to do my first brew on this system tomorrow.

Just put one of these together and it's working well except I had to make one small tweak. The washer between the lid and the 90 degree quick connect fitting is too thick, and it wasn't possible to tighten the spray nozzle to the quick connect without either very badly distorting the gasket or having a leak. I removed the top side washer and now it's fine, but I may look for a thinner one to prevent damage to the lid from the fitting punching through.

I see the pickup tube and thermowell have changed. I have the bazooka screen on mine and the thermowell where you just slide it in. Are these updated parts available to purchase on the website?

for safety reason the wire should be already connected to the element. You can not trust that everybody is good with wires. Plus I don't find a reason for not to
