So wonderful to see Mr. Deacon highlighted this week. I know he's a very private person, but, if by chance he reads this, I wish him health, peace and happiness. Mr. John Deacon...we love you!

I happened to meet John Deacon in Tokyo in 1981 Feb, we talked and shook hands, and he was ALWAYS smiling! Such a nice and beautiful person!

I love all four of them, but John is, and always will be, a personal favourite of mine. His songs are some of the sweetest and warmest of Queen's collection, not to mention his iconic bassline in almost EVERY Queen song! To add to that, I always think his quiet, yet firm personality is so inspiring-- he may not be in the spotlight, but you can never not notice this bass hero.

Mr. John Deacon, if you read this, just know that I really respect and love you!

A great and friendly bassist. One of the best bassist minds as well, with the invention of the Deacy Amp. Such a simple thing that so many companies are still trying to copy.
I respect him for retiring after Freddie's death, but man Deacy, you are missed buddy.

I have the utmost respect for John, and his deep enduring love, and respect, that he has for Freddie. Like Mary, he has been dignified in his behaviour since Freddie left us. I sincerely hope that he has had a good life since his retirement, and that he knows how much he is admired and loved. Take care John.
