I just saw an interview of Brian and Roger about the recordings of Killer Queen. Apparently, this clip was actually them re-recording the backing vocals for KQ after Brian was discharged from the hospital. Brian said that the original backing vocals comes off as “very abrasive”.

Not to be a nerd, but in the original 1974 studio recording of the song, Brian May and Roger Taylor only sang on the oohs and bahps. So they didn't sing that part at all.

Too bad it's staged. Those harmonies were done completely by Freddie, and they were done while Brian was still in the hospital.
