i am wondering whether the cailleach dream was a message on a deeper level. the departure of the cailleach is supposed to herald the beginning of spring. perhaps this is literally what it was, or perhaps it marks the end of one phase and the beginning of another; maybe there was something which you needed to leave behind in order to move forward? this is another way of looking at the change of winter to spring. with any luck this will or indeed did turn out to be very positive.

Thanks for this very interesting OP!
I´ve been working with the Milky Way Mythology for about 35 years as Comparative Mythologist and a Natural Philosopher and several of the video informations fits very well to my understanding of this very ancient mytheme.
I will make a contact on your Facebook Messenger to have a mutual conversation about all this.
See you there and Best Wishes from

Yes, I think you may be right. The monuments and the river must surely be associated with the stars and the galaxy. As above so below and ALL that.

In central Donegal and Tory Island, peist is Snake as opposed to a cuitóg (Cutch-Og) being a worm. Here in Glenfinn we have a mountain called "Alt na Peist" (the height of the Snake), theres a ravine (a geological fault) that was supposed to be the lair of a giant snake, this would shake the earth and eventually Fionn MacCool killed it. A geologist who did research in the area in the 1980s said this feature would have caused minor tremors in time gone by, so local people would have felt these and probably feared a creature, given the idea of destruction here, this shouldnt surprise us.
