Hello Anthony, I'm watching ur older live St. Brigid, My cousin in Boyle told me about St, Brigid, Unfortunately growing up in NYC am Irish decent, working on my Dual Citizenship. I was brought up by my Irish Nana, Pop from Letrium Grandpa and Grandma from Roscommon. Wish I was prevy to my heritage, St. Bridid. But at 61 I am so drawn to her. Thank you for all you do and saving our heritage, culture, it's so lovely Eileen in NH up by Canadian Border. Coming up on Nov 7 2023. I believe this is the real winter change. 👀💚💯🍀🇮🇪💚

Memorizing poetry is such a good way to preserve heritage through the oral tradition. Also, as a poet, I find that the more I listen to and read poetry, the more likely I am to write poetry. But memorizing poetry, even today, is useful for understanding the rhythm and the structure of the poem.

Thank you for naming the misogyny outright!! It's heartening to hear a man publicly point to the patriarchal bits directly and name them as such, instead of taking the easy way to avoid the tension and letting it stay normal. Very much appreciated 🍻

This is great. I've started to learn Gaelic, feels like a very precious thing in these modern times, where learning for love is becoming a very rare thing

Go halainn! Brilliant episode! Brigid is one of the most fascinating historical figures, religious figures, and divinities in all the wold's history! Thank you so much for focusing on this extraordinary being! To me she will always be a goddess, and not a "goddess of past peoples in past times." but a vibrant, living goddess, present and powerful in our times as much as ever. Wonderfully, she means many things to many people, and I love the way her magical nature transcends religious differences, bringing Catholics and Pagans together... Lovely!
