This has been happening for as long as I can remember in F1, a new set of rules come out and a single team blasts the rest of the field with a wonderful car. After a few years of dominance the field closes up and we get some great racing, only for F1 to change the rules again and the cycle starts all over.

As a die hard Max fan, I'm very happy for Lando and Maclaren. They definitely deserve it. I genuinely mean that.

Max has achieved everything he ever wanted in F1.

Most wins in a single season.
Most consecutive wins in a season.
Winning from outside the points twice.
