I had RAF last year and a pulmonary embolism. It was the scariest time ever!

I was just relieved of A-Fib. First they cardio version. Shocked my heart with around 300 joules of energy. That stopped it. Talk about relief. Next came Ablation. On the table they opened my thigh vein, inserted a catheter to my heart and burned the surface area by the A-Fib controlled area. I still feel great. Energy is back. Only complication was Sleep Apnea, while in A-Fib mode I could not sleep for days on end.My GP refused to describe sleep aids of any kind. This was incorrect. There are several sleep aids available. The GP was afraid I might stroke in A-Fib, and She would be sued. This was incorrect also. I fired that GP. She knew I had a chance of Dementia due to no sleep. She tried to kill me by doing nothing. Anyway I took Gummys(Marijuana). It saved my life until I got my procedures done.I do have 10% dementia now thanks to a cowardly and poorly trained GP. BTW, I’ve never smoked tobacco, not an alcoholic or diabetic, or obese, helping me heal.

I was diagnosed with AF two years ago. The cardiologist put me on Toprol xl, eliquis, entresto, digoxin. After six months I stopped taking them my cardiologist told me it’s very important for me to take those meds and I told him I didn’t like how I felt when I took them. He gave me two choices take the medication and listen to him or if I don’t take the medication I should go find a new doctor because im not listening to his protocol. Well it’s been over 2 years no adverse effects from not taking my medicine and I will keep going till I drop dead I’ve got no interest in taking any medication EVER. I will take supplements but no heart medication I will take my chances with my AF and if it leads to CHF so be it.
