I wish the transition to cockpit was a little smoother experience, like walking from the dooway to the seat. Same for single seaters, climbing to the cockpit etc.

Wait does this mean the jetway could potentially have interior.
E.g when we exit the plane we could go to the exit door located on the jetway so we can walk down the stairs and do a walk around. If thats not the case it’ll still be pretty cool to have that added.

In 2024 we know there's wear and tear so when you need to replace something how would that work? Like cancel the flight for maintenance or like buy parts right then and there?

walk around first person view in msfs 2024 must be a visable character we all users can see during doing walk arounds or seeing them flying and interact in the sim or even walk in your plane as a gast in your plane who wants to fly with you for sightseeing

this makes the sim much more freedom livingly like a first person shooter idea

once you click on the door your in the flightdeck I it possible to realistically walk up some steps to the flightdeck or walk up the steps what are attached to the Jetway like they do in real life, thats what I was looking forward to doing, like you can in the Challenger 650 in XP11/12????

it seems like they are keeping the same type of ground handling in flight simulator 2020 ...so no big different there ( time will show for final product i guess, if its better or stays the same )
i was hoping for a wider ground handling with alot more realisem to it.., we will see what happend

Nice but has the model seems everything is with a plastic/glass effect, like excesive Alpha layer

So glad to see they changed the start position to the outside, for the walk-around, like in real life!
It's the first thing you learn to do as a student pilot, for a reason! We don't spawn in the pilot seat. 🤣

It's a sim/game, so I don't mind if they allow you to skip it, but at least it should be an option.

Okay, that’s pretty cool. Huge for GA pilots and students looking to be able to replicate and practice the entire preflight for whatever they fly without having to spend the money.

Framerate is extremely low in walkaround mode. Even if the simulator runs at 60 fps on your PC, walkaround will be 20.
