We've been picking up beach litter to protect our oceans for 84 days now ...

These days tennis balls may be made from recycled PET bottles - which sounds okay until you see the fluorescent plastic or nylon fibres left behind after a dog has destroyed one on the beach. An interesting fact is that tennis balls were once white or black, before yellow ones were introduced in the 1970s.
